Accessibility statement

At Jims - LUXEMBOURG, a member of the Colruyt Group, we want to make a positive contribution to the quality of life of all our customers and help them to enjoy sport easily, efficiently and with quality. Digitalisation is accelerating, ubiquitous and now unavoidable in the market and in society, and this phenomenon will become even more pronounced in the years to come.
Accessibility for all our users, including people with disabilities, is a matter of course, given our values, our identity and what we intend to represent as a company.

Our digital products are partially compliant with standards: they currently comply with European standard EN 301549 version 3.2.1 (2021), which includes the criteria for categories A and AA of the WCAG 2.1 standard.
The audit report, which is the result of a simplified audit carried out by Colruyt Group, is available below. We will correct any elements that do not yet meet the standards as quickly as possible.

Content inaccessible:

For the website:

  • Currently, some buttons lack clear and concise text, which can limit comprehension and usability.
  • Some clickable (interactive) elements do not include identifiable text, which prevents them from being correctly interpreted by assistive technologies.
  • Some drop-down menu options are not sufficiently clear and explicit.
  • Certain sections of a web page do not include an explanation or relevant value to improve legibility and identification.
  • Some images do not have an explicit description enabling users to recognise them easily.
  • Some hidden elements are still sometimes detected by assistive technologies and can be activated or selected by mistake, which reduces user-friendliness.
  • The colours of text and visible elements do not always provide sufficient contrast.
  • Some interactive elements are not clearly separated, which limits their identification and ease of use.
  • Some links do not have explicit text, which may limit their recognition.

For other digital products:

  • Newsletters or other published digital communications do not always meet accessibility requirements.
  • Not all videos are subtitled.

For the application :

  • No audit has been carried out on the application at this time, but it will be included as soon as possible.
  • We anticipate that many of the observations made during the website accessibility audit will also apply to the application.
