COMPETITION RULES - JIMS NV

"Member Get Member - VIP Duo Experience: an evening with Arnold Schwarzenegger".

Article 1 - General

These rules apply to the "Member Get Member - VIP Duo Experience: An Evening with Arnold Schwarzenegger" competition, hereinafter referred to as the "Competition".

The Competition is organised by Jims NV, company number BE 0423.644.035, Jims Expansion NV, company number BE 0545.977.663, both having their registered office at Edingensesteenweg 196, 1500 Halle, and DO INVEST LUX, under company number 26471630, having its registered office at L-1221 Luxembourg, Rue de Beggen 233/241, hereinafter referred to as the "Organiser".

These rules define the conditions for taking part in the competition, how it is run, the designation of the winner(s), the prize and the processing of personal data.

By taking part in the competition, participants declare that they accept these rules in their entirety.

 

Article 2 - Duration

The competition runs from 09/02/2026 (00:01) to 28/02/2026 (23:59) inclusive.

The Organiser reserves the right to modify, suspend, shorten or extend the Contest if circumstances beyond its control so require, without this giving rise to any form of compensation.

 

Article 3 - Conditions of participation

Participation is open to all natural persons who

  • are members of Jims for the duration of the Contest with an annual subscription, either :
    • a prepaid annual subscription, or.
    • an annual subscription with payment in 4-weekly instalments (by direct debit),
      whatever the type of membership (Fitness, Group or All-in) and possibly with the Flex option or the youth rate (for BE)
  • be at least 18 years old at the time of joining.

Members with prepaid monthly memberships and 6-month memberships are not eligible;

The following people are excluded from taking part:

  • Members of the Organiser's staff, directors and representatives;
  • Persons directly or indirectly involved in the organisation of the competition; Group exercise instructors and personal trainers independently linked to Jims.
  • First-degree relatives and persons living at the same address as the above-mentioned persons.

The Organiser reserves the right to refuse participation or exclude a participant at any time if he/she breaches these rules, commits abuse or fraud or in any way compromises the smooth running of the Contest.

 

Article 4 - Participation and conditions of participation 
To participate validly, the participant must between 09/02/2026 and 28/02/2026 :

  • invite at least one new member as part of the "Member Get Member" action; to do this, the participant can click on the "Invite your friends" button in the Jim's application. There you will find a personal reference code that the new member must use when paying for their subscription; and
  • register once via the entry form on the landing page with the competition question. The competition question is as follows: How many times has Arnold won Mr Olympia?
     

A participant may only register once. The number of new members actually added is tracked by the organiser in the membership system. It is not necessary to register more than once.

Each valid application from a new member increases the participant's chances of winning.

 

Article 5 - Valid application

A "valid application" in this Competition means :

 

  • the registered member uses the participant's personal reference code when paying;
  • the registered member takes out an annual subscription for the duration of the Contest, either by direct debit every 4 weeks or by prepaid annual subscription, regardless of the type of subscription chosen (Fitness, Group or All-in) and possibly with the Flex option or the youth rate (BE); and
  • the member introduced is effectively activated as a member in the Jims membership system; and
  • the membership is not revoked.

 

Former members may count as a ‘new member’ if they have not been an active member for at least 4 weeks at the start of the promotion, specifically on 02/09/26

The Organiser determines whether an application is valid on the basis of the membership system.

 

Article 6 - Conduct of the matches and designation of the winners

At the end of the Contest, the winners are selected from all valid entries.

The total number of winners is 20. Each winner receives 1 duo ticket (winner + 1 plus one).

The selection is made by random draw from among the valid entrants who :

  • have at least one valid entry; and
  • have correctly registered via the form.

Additional chances of winning 
The more valid entries a participant has, the more chances they have of winning. For one valid entry, the participant obtains one chance, for two valid entries, two chances, for three valid entries, three chances, and so on. The Organiser will award a certain number of prizes to each participant depending on the number of valid entries.

Reserve winners 
The Organiser reserves the right to designate reserve winners. If a winner does not respond in time or is unable to take advantage of the prize, the prize may be awarded to a reserve winner.

The draw will take place on 16 March 2026 at 12 noon in the presence of an employee of the Organiser.

The winners will be informed by telephone at the end of the Contest via the telephone number provided at the time of entry.

If the winner does not answer the call and does not call back within 24 hours, he will lose his right to the prize and the Organiser may designate another winner.

 

Article 7 - Prize

The prize consists of a VIP duo experience for the event:

"An evening with Arnold Schwarzenegger"
on Sunday 29 March 2026 at the Waagnatie (Antwerp), as part of Supernova.

The prize includes for the winner and one person of their choice ("plus one"), preferably a new member:

  • VIP access to the event;
  • a walking dinner with champagne reception;
  • access to a private Jim's VIP lounge;
  • a shuttle service from one of the nearby Jim's clubs (practical information to follow later);
  • a goody bag.

The prize is personal, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other benefits.

Tickets are nominative. The winner must inform the Organiser of the name of the person they are taking with them in good time.

The Organiser gives preference to the winner bringing the newly introduced member. 
The following people may not be chosen as +1:

  • members of staff, directors and representatives of the Organiser
  • persons directly or indirectly involved in organising the Contest
  • group and personal trainers who have an independent relationship with Jims
  • first-degree relatives and persons living at the same address as the above-mentioned persons.

 

If the winner (= the winning Jims member) cannot be present in person, the prize will be forfeited. The prize is not transferable and will be awarded to a subsequent winner in accordance with the nomination mechanism.

The resale of tickets is prohibited.

 

Article 8 - Force majeure, cancellation and practical changes

The Organiser cannot be held responsible if the Competition or event cannot take place due to force majeure, cancellation, security measures or circumstances beyond the Organiser's control. or circumstances beyond the Organiser's control (such as, but not limited to, changes made by the event organiser, Supernova).

In the event of cancellation or modification of the event, the prize will be forfeited and will not be awarded.

 

Article 9 - Fraud and abuse

Jims NV, Jims Expansion NV and Do Invest Lux ensure that the Competition runs smoothly.

Any attempt at fraud, abuse or manipulation (e.g. false entries, misleading entries, abuse of systems) may result in immediate exclusion, without any compensation.

The Organiser reserves the right, in the event of fraud or abuse, to refuse participation and possibly take legal action.

 

Article 10 - Personal data and privacy

In order to take part in the Competition, personal data will be processed, in particular

  • first name and surname ;
  • e-mail address
  • telephone number;
  • membership data enabling the number of valid entries to be verified;
  • the answer to the competition question.

Personal data will be processed exclusively for the purposes of

  • manage the competition
  • contacting the winners
  • awarding the prize.

Processing is carried out in accordance with applicable privacy legislation (GDPR) and Jims' privacy statement.

Personal data will be kept for 6 months after the end of the competition, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

Participants may exercise their rights (inspection, correction, deletion, restriction, objection) as described in the Jims privacy statement.

 

Article 11 - Visual material (photo and video)

During the event, photographs and video recordings may be taken by or on behalf of Jims.

 

By entering the competition and being present at the event, the winner (and his/her guest) agrees that this visual material may be used for Jims' communication and marketing purposes (social media, website, internal communication and promotional campaigns).

If anyone objects to the use of specific images, they can report this via Jims' contact details, after which Jims will assess this request in accordance with the applicable regulations.

Participants may indicate in advance if they do not wish to be photographed; requests will be assessed by Jims in accordance with the regulations in force.

 

Article 12 - Liability

The Organiser cannot be held responsible for

  • technical problems relating to websites, forms, Internet connections or systems;
  • communication errors due to incorrect data provided by the participant;
  • any damage or loss resulting from participation in the Competition or the Event, except in the case of intent or gross negligence.

 

Article 13 - Contact

Questions concerning the Competition may be addressed to the club's employees.

No correspondence will be entered into concerning disputes relating to the interpretation of these rules, the selection of winners or the running of the Competition.

 

Article 14 - Validity

The invalidity or inapplicability of one or more provisions of these rules shall not affect the validity of the other provisions. The invalid provision will be replaced by a provision that comes as close as possible to the objective of the initial provision.

 

Article 15 - Applicable law and disputes

This competition is governed by Belgian law.

Any disputes arising from or relating to this Contest will first be subject to an attempt at amicable resolution between the Organiser and the participant.

If no amicable solution is possible, the courts of the judicial district where the Organiser's registered office is located (Belgium) will have exclusive jurisdiction to hear the dispute.

This provision applies to all participants, regardless of their place of residence (Belgium or Luxembourg).
